The Public Safety Advisory Committee is an advisory resource to the City Council. At the discretion of the City Council, the Committee shall review, research and provide recommendations on any issue, program, goal or item as assigned by the Council. Functional areas include, but are not limited to:
Review of public safety services including contract performance / cost and the possible expansion of public safety programs and services
Fiscal soundness for public trust
Review of service providers to ensure top quality service
Opportunities for joint programs with other local public agencies, as well as opportunities for public / private partnerships that benefit Hesperia and other duties assigned by the City Council
Applicant must reside within the City of Hesperia and be a United States Citizen as verified by current voter registration with the County Elections Office.
