How do I address the City Council about items that are on or not on the agenda?
The Council can be addressed by completing a speaker card and returning it to the City Clerk before the Council meeting begins. For items that are on the agenda the Mayor will call for you to speak at the time the agenda item is heard.

If the item is not on the agenda, the Mayor will call for you to speak during the Joint Public Comment section of the agenda. Speakers are limited to three minutes per item. In compliance with the Brown Act, Council Members will not take any action at council meetings for non-agendized items but may direct staff to contact you at a later date or obtain more information about your concern.
